Had my second surf on the 12-footer today. It was smallish and a bit bumpy, but sunny and a beautiful day. Kooked many a wave, had a handful of fun ones. Nothing more than about chest high, and a bit crumbly. The 12-footer is more of a "tank" to manuever into position; with less rocker, more weight and more waterline than the olo. But on those few that I had where it all came together, it was a real magic little cruise.
No parallel stance for me, but I can say it takes a fair bit of moving to stay in what seems to be a bit of an ever-shifting "sweet spot" - more like a traditional noserider than the olo.
Fin seems a bit skewed... maybe I'm seeing things, but it feels it wants to pull to the right a bit. Don't notice it while riding though.
A beauty of a little pre-summer screw-round sesh.
